My Maker Space
What do you do when you don't have access to a dedicated maker space?
You build one yourself.
Inspired by the SoLa Tech & Innovation Center, I transformed a spare room in my home into a fully functional tech workspace. I designed and built a custom wooden workbench to support my engineering projects—from 3D printing and soldering to solar-powered prototyping. This space became the foundation for my hands-on learning and innovation.

Context
As someone who regularly works on tech projects, assignments, and hands-on builds through programs like SoLa, I realized how hard it is to get things done without a dedicated space.
I was constantly bouncing between locations and struggling with limited access to tools and equipment. That’s when I decided to turn a spare room in my home into a personal maker space.
It’s not just a workspace, it’s a foundation for my creativity, productivity, and innovation.
